We would like to thank everyone for their understanding regarding the delay in postings due to Duif's increasing illness. As you may know, this is an all-volunteer project, and without Duif participating directly, things have slowed down considerably. For those who have asked, Duif is doing OK under the circumstances. It has been a difficult decision, but after 11 years we have decided to stop publishing the International Directory of Chess Teachers. Due ot Duif's increasing illness and the changeover in other volunteers, it has just become too difficult to maintain in a way that is fair to everyone who wanted to be listed.
These days most chess teachers have their own websites, and many can be found through the vairous chess servers. So it hsould be much easier for potential students to find a teacher than it was when we first began the listings.
