Complete
Team Standings at the end of Round 2
Although the official site and the Armenian News Agency are still reporting different results for a few of the matches, it looks like everythings come in at this point.
Hungary and Armenia 3 had perfect scores for this round, as did Ecuador, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Qatar, Syria, and the International Blind Chess Association (IBCA). Hungary, with a 4-0 win over Moldova, moved into a tie for first position with China at the end of Round 2. There are 12 more rounds to play.
(Armenia 3 was added in round 2 in order to keep the number of teams even. Several more countries, including Syria and Egypt, entered at the second round.)
Among the top teams, Armenia 1 lost their team match against Slovenia, with a score of 1.0-3.0 [Originally reported by the official match site as 1.5-2.5]. The Netherlands recovered some ground with a 3.5-0.5 score against Kyrgystan. Australia held the strong Georgian team to 2-2. Armenia-2 also held the Bosnian team to 2-2. Bangladesh managed to get one draw against medal favorites Russia. Yugoslavia and the USA drew 2-2, as did Estonia and Israel. (It's a typical match strategy for strong teams to seek a draw with other strong teams, and then play hard for wins against weaker teams.)
In other results, Viet Nam scored 2-2 against the Czech Republic, leaving them with a plus score after two rounds at 4.5. Paraguay also had a strong match against Iran, winning 3-1 to move back to a 50% score.
